What our alumni say

Although I worked in product strategy and marketing at a company, I always had a passion for pastry. Alongside my job, I began developing a small dessert business, but I felt I lacked a more solid technical foundation and advanced knowledge to raise the quality of my preparations. My goal was to learn professional techniques I could apply directly to my project, without leaving my current job. In the course I learned techniques that used to seem complex, such as working with thickeners, gelling agents, and emulsifiers. I also discovered tools and practical tricks that noticeably improved the quality of my desserts, such as adjusting textures and presentations. Even though the online format was an initial challenge when recording my processes, the live classes and feedback from the instructors helped me refine every detail. Today I apply many of the techniques I learned to my desserts, and my business has gained in quality and efficiency.
